In addition to serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, Mark Zitzow is currently a Principal with Johnson and Associates in Oklahoma City. Here, he leads a team of five Urban Planners/Designers that work across the spectrum within the Planning profession. Mark oversees the current and long-range planning efforts for the firm with projects ranging from land use entitlements to comprehensive plans. Prior to joining J&A, Mark worked for the both Greater Oklahoma City and Stillwater Chambers of Commerce in economic development. Professionally, Mark is heavily involved in several local professional organizations, Oklahoma APA, Urban Land Institute, Oklahoma and the Congress for the New Urbanism Local Conference Host Committee. In 2016, Mark received his master’s degree in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science-Public Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.
