Sharon Bozorgi
Sharon is a lecturer at the Gibbs College of Architecture. Deeply committed to the humanities, she believes in the power of historical study to illuminate the complexities of human culture and architectural achievement.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classics and Letters from the University of Oklahoma, and a Post-Bachelor’s in Museum Studies from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. She completed her Master’s in Art History at Indiana University, where she focused on comparative studies of Roman and Persian monumental imperial architecture, visual culture, and numismatics. Through extensive on-site research examining architectural and cultural intersections of ancient civilizations, Sharon has conducted fieldwork across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
