About
Dr. Nils Gransberg is an adjunct instructor in the Haskell & Irene Lemon Construction Science Division at the University of Oklahoma. He is currently the Vice President for Operations at Gransberg & Associates, Inc., a construction engineering management consulting firm based out of Norman, OK, that provides continuing education and direct consulting services to public and private owners, federal agencies, state DOTs, AEC firms, and general contractors. Dr. Gransberg also regularly teaches continuing education and professional development seminars for the ASCE, the South Plains Transportation Center, and for both public and private sector clients. He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers in 2014, having served in various construction effects units and assignments and managing a $450M infrastructure expansion program, with deployments to Iraq in 2003 and Afghanistan in 2010-2011. Following his retirement, he worked for the University of Oklahoma as a capital projects manager/construction administrator; highlights include the Tom Love Innovation Hub, the Residential Colleges dormitories, and the Jimmie F. Austin Golf Course Renovation Program.
