About
Charles G. Warnken teaches courses in housing and community development, economic development, land use planning/law, and currently directs RCPL’s graduate studio program. Charles received his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the Florida State University (2003), holds an MPA degree from the University of Louisville (1996) and a bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Wyoming (1992). He is currently engaged in action-oriented research creating a feasibility study to identify development opportunities for a number of brownfield sites located in Oklahoma City’s inner-city neighborhoods. Charles has recently partnered with the City of Oklahoma City and the US EPA to create a state-wide training program for planners, municipal officials and real estate professionals interested in the process of brownfield redevelopment.
