Jerry Puckett
About
Jerry Puckett, Technical Project Management Specialists III and Facilities Manager, works with the administrative team to support all phases of the college’s operations, whether adapting the facility to meet the needs of program changes, event logistical planning, room scheduling or purchasing.
Jerry believes that maintaining a sense of the college’s overarching vision when meeting its needs leads to our success. He thinks that our best experiences are when we are challenged as a team to pull together to make an event, situation or circumstance successful.
He is certified with multiple roofing applications, including as a Commercial Roofing Manager; EPA certification for HVAC applications and recovery; Boiler Operations and as a First Responder (AED, CPR).
He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and received training and certifications in HVAC, Boiler Operations, EMT Basic and Machining. He is recipient of the campus-wide Katie Pursley Superior Performance Award and the college’s Jerri Hodges Bonebrake Outstanding Staff Award.
Jerry enjoys anything outdoors and has a true passion for cycling. He chairs the benefit bicycle ride for the JD McCarty Center’s Camp ClapHans that provides scholarships allowing kids with development disorders to attend the summer camp
