Alan Moring is a Professor of Practice and Community Liaison in the Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. He is Sooner Born and Sooner Bred, attended high school in Norman, OK, then earned his Bachelor and Master Degrees from the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. He began teaching at the University of Oklahoma in 2023. Alan’s 30-year career includes working at several firms in Norman and Oklahoma City, working on various building types, including stadiums, hospitals, museums, schools, and housing. Most recently he worked a Staff Architect for the University of Oklahoma for over seven years.
